Brian, a graduate of the UMass School of Hotel & Restaurant Administration, began his career with Interstate hotels in 1986 where he moved up through the Rooms Division. As Director of Rooms Operations at the Parsippany Hilton in 1995 he was the recipient of Interstate’s Chairman’s award. In 1997, Brian transferred to Interstate’s Select Service division, Crossroads Hospitality, to open Interstate’s first Courtyard by Marriott in Orange Connecticut, as General Manager.

After a move to Rhode Island to open the 216-room Courtyard in downtown Providence as General Manager, he later received the Crossroads Hospitality Opening of the Year award and then in 2001, the Hotel of the Year award. Brian joined the Procaccianti Group in 2003 as the General Manager of the Hilton in Dedham Massachusetts where he and his team received the distinction of Hilton’s Most Improved Customer Service award. He then became the General Manager of the 274 room Hilton in Providence where he oversaw the conversion of the hotel from a Holiday Inn.

Brian joined our company in April 2008 and has been responsible for the Operations of Colwen’s branded hotels. In June of 2009, he was promoted to Vice President of Operations.
