Colin brings to Colwen extensive experience that includes 34 years of service as Senior Vice President of Lodging at Marriott International. There, his range of responsibilities included site approval and development of new construction projects, as well as management of a regional team.

In 1996, Colin received franchise approval from Marriott to build a Residence Inn in Foxborough, MA. He then teamed with Wendell Butcher to successfully develop a 108-room Residence Inn in July of 1998.

Colin also has several unique distinctions, including serving as the President of the Newton, MA Chamber of Commerce, President of the Massachusetts Hotel Association, and receiving the Juvenile Diabetes Man of the Year in 1995. He graduated with degrees in hotel management from Paul Smith's College and Michigan State University.
