In 1996, Colin Nadeau and Wendell Butcher founded Colwen Lodging, L.L.C. to develop and manage a Residence Inn in Foxborough, MA. The 108-room Residence Inn opened in Foxborough in July 1998. Colwen Lodging, L.L.C has since evolved into Colwen Management Inc. Colwen Management oversees the management of hotel properties, directs all activities within the properties, and maintains standards set by Marriott and Hilton.

"Our objective is to provide management teams for our properties that will provide high-quality service to our guests and good value to our owners," says Wendell Butcher, President of Colwen Management. "It's two-pronged- we strive to make customers happy and to make owners happy with a good return on investment. It's our goal to exceed guests' expectation on what is delivered."

"We have a well-rounded management group, solid philosophies and principles, and goals we can accomplish through service to our customers, associates, and owners," says Leo Xarras, Colwen's Chairman and CEO.
